BM 51 Spring Latch Question

So I just got the 51 last night, and I know it's spring latch works differently than the 42. Rather than a spring, the liners create the spring action. My question is, if I leave the latch locked for a long time, or latch my knife whenever I'm not using it, does anyone know if the liners will just wear out over time? So the liners won't spring the latch open anymore? Or are they strong enough to keep their shape and spring? Thanks!

I would think it wouldn't, but ya never know, just know that Benchmade is pretty legit about fixing and/or replacing anything, period.

Nope wouldnt even be concerned with ti deforming
