Thanks guys.. I flipped the image so you can see the blade since for some reason I cant get the pics to size right. Got it from a private seller on the JD who is a real cool guy. The Spyderfly (which is the full sized Smallfly, obviously) isnt in production anymore, but they pop up on the secondary market for around $200. The Rainbowfly is a little rarer. The seller was asking 250, but he's a good guy, and gave it to me for 235. I'm really happy with it though. I kinda got lucky. I was looking for a Spyderfly, and was in talks with someone to purchase a solid grey one. That deal fell through, but then I came across the Rainbowfly right afterwards, so it ended up working out to my benefit :) I have 3 more production knives that I want, well maybe 4, and then it's probably on to customs. I want an Alpha Beast (ofcourse), a BM 42 (still dont have one), a Cold Steel Arc Angel, and a Protech Flyfather. But now the Spyderfly is checked off the list :) Thanks again guys.

You got a great deal then I have been seing these go as high as $300 and selling for that much too, and to think I thought I was paying too much when I bought mine for $180 a couple of years ago.

My Flippers

Hey guys, didn't wanna start a new thread for this, but I just took a pic of my 5 regular flippers together. These are the knives I have that I consider good flippers, which basically are my non CCC's :D Well, actually I have an M-Tech Twist, and a Bear and Sons 117s, that both flip pretty good, but they're kinda cheap so I didn't include them.

I know it's kind of a modest group, but I just bought my first balisong (well, the first one since I got into flipping them), just over 3 months ago. So my balisong collection is growing, and will definitely get bigger :) I still NEED a 42, an Alpha Beast, Flyfather, and I'm thinking about a Tachyon 2; as soon as I have the ca$h.. Keep 'em flipping guys, and let's see some pics of your bali collections. I think we all love a little knife porn!

Edit: Having trouble getting it to display the full pic again.. *sigh*

Re: new spyderfly

I don't have a lot to spend on knives, but I did manage to scrape up enough to get a Kimura VI.

This will probably be the extent of my balisong collection for awhile, unless I find a good deal on a Benchmade.

Re: new spyderfly

^ every collection has to start somewhere if you can't find good deals on BM you could try to hunt down a M-tech twist kinda hard to find but I haven't seen one go for more than $50 and they are the cheapest Darrel Ralph design I have seen.

Re: new spyderfly

There's a user here that sells twists for 30 or 35.. Sorry, I can't think of his handle right now, but it's in the sales thread. A user, Glenn over at the JD sells them for about the same. Solid knife. I have one, but didn't include my cheaper knives in my pic.
