Your Perfect Balisong

I was thinking about what my perfect balisong would be (Benchmade model 51 with titanium handles instead of G10 saw a photo of someone who did this it looked sick) and I was curious to see what my other fellow flippers here on The Flipping Arena would love to see in their balisong if they could build their own.

Heres a link to that 51 with titanium handles

Re: Your Perfect Balisong

I love weehawk tanto balisongs, sadly I cant find any for sale for a decent price. Anyway my perfect bali would be a weehawk tanto with 4x style handles, maybe a bit more rounded than that, and zen pins :D.

So you want what we all wanted out of the 62 as well, I am glad I was not the only one that wanted this. :D

BM 51 Morpho re anodized fusia (closest to red)

BM 4x style spring latch

An s30v traditional tanto style blade
(don't too much like the BM style tanto... something more like a kimura tanto with no curve on the spine)

Excited just picturing it :D

Re: Your Perfect Balisong

Currently the only knife I would really enjoy would be a run of the mill BM 51 Morpho. Sadly I can't find any for a good price around here.

Re: Your Perfect Balisong

You can get them as low as $150 but you have to be checking the forums (and jd forums) non stop cause they usually get picked up in a few short hours of posting.

The problem with that, is I live in Canada. No one will ship out here, sadly.

Have you tried contacting Blade HQ?

Just started flipping? Hard to find decent Balis in the $30-$60 range? The Search Ends Here!

Don't hold out for a BM42! Take that $400+ you are planning on spending and go get in line for an Alpha Beast! You won't be disaponted!

That or there are some Canadian sellers on the Forums once in awhile just have to be patient but like Wheelman said you should try to contact bladehq.com and see if they would be willing to help out. :TU:

Well, I took everyone's advice and contacted Blade HQ, sadly they won't send any Bali's into Canada. Thanks for the idea, though. :)

Re: Your Perfect Balisong

Today I've met my friend and tried a BM32, BM51 and some other misc ones and I can say I really love the BM32. It's the perfect size for me (smaller hands, etc). I've also just ordered one online so I can't wait to get it. I almost got a 51 before but after trying the 32 I can't go back.

The weight distribution, materials feel, build quality, size, blade length, etc are all perfect and I really couldn't imagine finding anything better for EDC and flipping. The Kimura is probably going to remain my main flipper but BM32 will be my EDC knife.

Once this comes I'm going to have 3 balisongs: random ccc, bradley kimura VI and BM32 :D

Every collection starts somewhere and with balis it is usually a ccc that makes you realize how badass the epic art of flipping is :TU:

If possible, a full toxic green anodized kimura, tanto blade, and a spring latch modeled after the 4x
