Training Sessions

Just thought I'd start a thread and throw up some practice vids. It won't have anything for the challenges, or ladder worthy material. Just some vids of me messing around with the bali (and probably a lot of mistakes). Maybe we could get a video thread sticky to go with our picture thread one. sometimes you have to sort through a lot of garbage on the tube when looking for balisong vids, this would be a spot for non-challenge vids of the arena members; just a thought :geek: anyways, enjoy my vids. they may not be top notch , but the it'll be hilarious when I eventually stab myself somewhere, it hasn't happened yet, but it's only a matter of time.

as always, comments are welcome both negative and positive. Don't hold back, I can take it ;)

Heh good idea, we all need to see some good bloopers sometimes.

ESPECIALLY bloopers from someone like Loosey !
Seeing bloopers from Matnotah would be kinda funny would be fucking funny cuz he's usually so fucking smooth.

non ladder vids practice vids and stuff can go in a sticky if everyone else is cool with it.

also .. this vid reminded me how much I like J5

BUT....

what no guillotine?
wheres that crazy snap opening?

hee!
Loosey

MY bloopers are just me swearing a lot, as seen in my greatest misses video.

Loosey asked, and he shall receive. trying out his new trick opening. landed a couple of variations into open position (purely accidental) but they don't look half bad IMO. Oh and a stab in my hand, told you it'd happen soon enough  I've been stickin myself all goddamn afternoon trying this trick. the one I finally caught at the end is the cleanest one I did all day.

yeah , I had to feel it out until I was holding it at the right spot and getting the right 'flick'. painful process, but gratifying as hell once I got it

here's another one. I finally got that fuckin combo from the other vid and after watching loosey's crazy snap opening the other day, I set out to invent a little something of my own. not quite perfected yet. instead of doubling out from the ice-pick grip when I catch it, I'm gonna try to throw it straight into a thumb roll-over. I think it'll add just enough to make it a half decent looking trick. double y2k's are pissin me off!!

I must be losing it. I could swear I posted this here earlier today, but obviously I didn't :? :? Anyways, I had another video deleted and figured the least I could do was make another to take it's place.
