Re: New trick Vid + Random flipping footage

Well it just struck me as more of a trick than a combo because i came up with it as a way to go to and from a blade grab without using ariels....

However I know its not going to be remembered as a new trick just cuz i say..... i dont take it all that seriously just in my head i think o it as a trick a combo i'd call a longer string of tricks but thats just me.... just posted a new combo and i have one or two more on the way

Flipping progress.

Easy thing to do.. just post 3 of your video from day one(or the oldest video you have),a video from your middle point, and your newest video.Or if you want to just combined all 3 of your videos into one video.
First trick.

Mid point.

where i am now.. still need work.

Re: New trick Vid + Random flipping footage

Maybe it is just simpler to say its a new trick to me. I know it's not new to everyone and some will call it a combo but to me a combo is longer, and for this I've been doing the chaplin to blade grab for a while now and this sort of completes the cycle by going back from blade grab to a chaplin to index roll. For its more of a trick like I'd say to someone doesn't flip hey look at this trick.

If you break flipping down all tricks and combos are nothing more than different combinations of Ricochets/fans, Twerling, chaplins, roll-overs, and aerials. Those are the 5 ways of the balisong :pirate_sail:

For the record I know I'm not really doing anything too innovate and will not be inventing the next helix, that is not really y i name the tricks/combos it's just to give them a cool sounding name for the video .... I mean combo #1 works but not all the time PLUS i kind of think of going from normal bali grip to blade grab as being a Shift of flipping gears of sorts.

btw i have 2 vids im working on now one is a chaplin heavy compilation and the other is a tut on entropy's ladder to helix aerial combo plus variations on it. This is a trick I've been working on since way back when i was flipping a K3 lol Here is the original ...
