Zippo tricks?

what do you dirtbags think of having a stickied subfourm just for zippo tricks and penspinning... I feel like this two things may be things most flippers do (if you dont you might want to think about doing so heheh) Just seems to me that a lot of cats who flip knives do these as well... A mini ladder game eh? just for fun with zippo tricks>? or teams or whatever...

thinking outside of the box but still we do have other ladders we could join just for penspinning or zippo tricks right? so would anybody bite ?

or if the ladder is too much as long as we were gentlemenly about it we could just have open polls with no ladder...

anyhow I need to pick up lighter fluid ... this whole thread is in fact a reminder for me to get some at the store tomorrow....

Re: Zippo tricks?

good idea, not a whole URL, but after the off topic section one for pen spinning and one for zippo. I think you should post chalanges and others in the same little fourm. Maybe a second one for polls too. Great idea
its better to have flipped and lost than never to have flipped at all

Ahh the zippo an american classic like the 1911. Heres two vids to get everyone started on learning some zippo tricks. These cats take the cake and then some.

Nice tricks L. , I only know a couple myself. As for your girlfriend kickin mine's ass, I'll tell you what; If you bring the popcorn, I'll supply the jell-o and kiddie-pool. It's the only way to get to the bottom of that statement like gentlemen ;) (just kiddin buddy, we all know mud wrestling is the only way to handle these things in a polite society)

Re: Zippo tricks?

This is the flipping arena. I gues you could say we "flip" zippo's and pens.... I'm for it.

But my girlfriend wouldn't flip a bali to save her life.

Re: Zippo tricks?

she can't really flip, but she throws knives. well....sort of. She's got that girly, faggedy throwing style, so they just kind of get lobbed at the target. But she can stick it at least half the time, that's not too bad, if you've ever tried throwing knives you'll know it can be tricky.

Re: Zippo tricks?

I've been thinking about doing those. Illegal in my county to own a throwing knife. Kind of hard to practice.

Re: Zippo tricks?

never heard of throwing knives being banned? that sucks, i know the feeling. I live in Canada, even our toothpicks need permits

if you really want to throw, any sturdy fixed blade with a straight ahead point should throw nicely. heavier the better IMO
