I just bought two of these things. They're for finger dexterity, and really fun if you're a generally fidgety person... which I know all of you must be. :)

It took me about an hour to understand why they're as fun as they are. It's not an intuitive movement at first.
I've had it for two days now, and the burning is just letting up. They're quite a workout on those little finger muscles that don't normally get a workout.

I have to admit, I went ahead and bought these to train for the challenge with Matnotah. I'm old and slow. :D

Yeah, you should see me after I've been without my knife for a couple hours. Looks like I'm about to start scratching the paint off the walls.

That thing looks pretty neat. Then I saw the finger weights and started getting ideas. Heh.

By that logic, why would football players lift weights? I can flip a bali for hours and never get tired. But this toy seems to do a good job of targeting those little muscles on the sides of the fingers, which are helpful for bali stuff, but never get a direct workout.

But then again, some people choose to spend the training time, practicing those badass moves I can't seem to figure out. :D

After using this, did it actually increase your dexterity? Of did it just make your hands stronger?

wow, these look really useful. flipping balisongs are great for dexterity but these look like they will work out the muscles in your fingers that dont get a work out with a balisong but would be useful for flipping. i like this a lot. might look into getting a pair.
