They're the ones selling the fake Benchmade 42s.

From what I can tell, they're a legitimate business selling fakes. That twist looks like a good deal, though.

These blades are located in china though I'm under the impression that importing balisongs from overseas are illegal. Are customs letting personal orders slip through?

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but me and some friends are seriously considering buying this but want to know if anyone here can vouch for it. We'll be disappointed if they're low quality fakes. Thanks.

Hm, found another similar deal on a different site. Is there any way to determine if they're legit? Thanks guys.

I bought one from there. The money left my paypal account, but on their website it doesn't say anything about my order history or anything, and no confirmation about receiving my money or anything. Not too worried personally, but watch out if anyone's thinking about it.

Edit: Turns out they shipped it to the address on file for paypal instead of the address I told them. Got it at my moms house.

Alright, be sure to loctite it as soon as you get it or it won't last the day.

Will do. Any idea what size screwdriver I'm going to need?

Re: Dirt Cheap MTech Twists

I just got my twist from there today. The knife itself was super stiff, I stripped every screw when I tried to loosen the pivots. It had 8 gold colored washers, don't really know what type of metal they are. And now i bought a replacement set of pivots/washers from Glenn on the jdba for a penny more than the knife. Pretty sure its a genuine mtech twist though.

I know the atlexpress ones are for sure not genuine, and although I don't have any experience with the mixcc twists I would find it hard to believe. Do you have a for sure authentic twist to compare it to?
