Re: Best lube for balisongs

i used to use black graphite powder on the axles on my pinewood derby cars when i was in scouts, it deffinatly worked there, so i'd imagine it would work on a bali, just gotta work it in before you go for the gold

no, cheating was having my dad take my block to work and drill new holes for the axles, sanding down the burrs on the axles and shaping the wheel for less contact

Re: oiling

I use Benchmade blue lube and compressed air to clean.

I lube my pivots with gun oil or miltec.

If you're using it to cut food, then corn oil on the blade - same oil for cooking.

That's how I oil my tanto.

Re: oiling

Kind of related...I used some SeaFoam Deep Creep to clean the debris out of my CCC's pivots...mang she's flying now.

I love just about anything SeaFoam makes.

Any one here experiencing any small spots of rust on there blade?

I have had my 51 for 2weeks now and a tiny outbreak is building towards the lower of my blade!

Can anyone recomend the best solution to this problem ?
