For Filipino Handmades, I use WD40, Benchmade Blue Lube Cleaner, Hoppes Elite Gun Oil and a can of Air Duster to break them in.

For my other Balisongs, I usually just put Hoppes Elite Gun oil into the hinges and spray any debris out with my Air Duster.

On a few occasions, I have had 4 Customs loosen up on me in one way or another. Having a Torx Screwdriver set is ESSENTIAL.

Some Loctite Blue and general machine oil got my Bali in good shape pretty easily, but I agree with the screwdrivers, those are a must have.

If you don't have a torx screw and your 51 falls apart, you're screwed. It happened to me.
