Thank you men, it is true that it is difficult for me, it is for that reason that I am not so active on the F.A. The language blocks me enormously. But I cross each days several times and I am very attentive has what takes place here. To correct my faults, it make me learn, but don't forget that it is not as if it was the language about which I often speak. I am not bilingual. Regrettably. And often, I try to speak instinctively, with my reaction express, and my small vocabulary... No problem for the corrections. Excuse me for the faults.

Re: Loctiting Pivot Screws

glad to see some french speaking flippers contributing. Greg, fais sur de metre les tetes carrees dans leurs place si ils te donne trop de misere  ( that is probably so full of spelling mistakes, I haven't written in french for years)

Correcting someone's second language can be very helpful, we just have to be tactful and respectful about it. Hell, most of the english speaking guys could use a lesson or two in speling every now and again

While I'm here, can you guys use a little discretion when quoting other replies. I think this thread actually has more quoted text than actual replies. thanks ;)

BTW-- thanks for looking out Droop, I appreciate it.

Damn true !!

Haha, seriously speaking though, it's more than an honour to have the Frenchies and other Europeans here. I can't express how much I appreciate the fact that people like GreG and Matnotah are here, communicating in a secondary language which they may not be too good at. Frankly if I were to join a Spanish forum, especially where they use so much slang, life would really be hard for me !

So I salute these guys with respect.

Re: Loctiting Pivot Screws

i agree. and we need to make a conscious effort to help them out by making our posts as easy as possible to read. sometimes they have to put it in a translator, so it needs to make sense.

Re: Loctiting Pivot Screws

Thank you all for your attention, it is really my translator which works well!!! And all your sentences are clearly, me understands better  , certain use the slang ,thank you....
Spyderguy, Str8 and Droopdog, :TU: it is really simple and easy to read to you, without translator.
Hey Syderguy, your French is cool and great humor, with a brilliant expression, in Canada they knows " la tete au carré :pirate_SPANK: " !!!
Exellent, too much fun, I would follow your advice... :TU:

Re: Loctiting Pivot Screws

I've had that happen. When using a thread locker, it's recommended that you clean all the previous stuff and other gunk from the screw first. I used nail polish remover(acetone) and a q-tip to clean it as best I could. I find the longer you leave it before flipping (at least 24hrs, maybe longer) is best. As hard as it can be to leave it alone for too long, it should help you to flip a little longer before worrying about losing screws.

Re: Loctiting Pivot Screws

What happens if I've already used permatex? I've heard about the acetone, but is there anything else to clean the permatex out?
