hey droop, ive never used militec before so, do you take apart your balis or do you just put small drops in the pivots?

You got it! just a small drop on either side of the blade in the pivots.

i think jason posted up his process somewhere a long time ago, and it works great. also, i would just order the miitec straight from militec. thats who i got mine from.
basically, i think the process went like this:
1:heat pivots
2: apply militec and work slowly into pivots
3:re-heat
4: leave over night
5: repeat process, and go through the whole cycle once more if you like.

all this is outlined on militecs website anyways, just replace the part of the process that requires firing a bunch of rounds through the rifle with heating with the hair dryer.

Go to your local hardware store and find thread locker that's removeable, they all work the same, sometimes it's loctite sometimes it's permatex, it's all the same really, as long as it says removeable

The Kimura 2 and up have nylon patches on the pivot screws, so loctite should not be required. If for some reason yours needs loctite, pull the screws all the way out and look, if there is no nylon patch, loctite it. If there is, scrub it off then loctite it.
