Well, I got good news and of course bad news. I have five backer boards almost completed, as in all they need now are the metal hardware, holes drilled, and maybe a little more file work, (damned high standards...) That is the good news.

The bad news is I will not have access to the shop until Monday. So, unless my neighbor has a drill press and a vice, I will be unable to drill the holes or accurately bend the metal to complete the hardware portion. I can cut the metal and polish it, but that is about it. On the up side I can pretty much guarantee finished product on Monday afternoon.

Once again, sorry for the delay. More pics coming...

This is one of a kind, as I am completely unsure of when i will ever get my hands on more Black Walnut. as such it is more expensive than the others, plus Black Walnut is expensive damn wood anyway... so quitcherbitchin.
I am really thinking of just opening this one up to auction.... starting at $60

Don't know how sharp or how long you want to spend sharpening your knife. I use ceramic (a piece of tile) and a leather strip and in 20 mins I can have it insanely sharp!! Im an old fashioned kind of guy.
