Kimura latch sticks when flipping

My main flipper for the last year or so has been a Kimura II. Of course, at this point it has a lot of latch wear on the handles. The problem is that the latch keeps wanting to stick in a semi-closed position while I'm flipping. It makes it very hard to flow smoothly from move to move when I have to basically unlatch it every few seconds. I am thinking it's some small bur (sic) on the safe handle that's causing it but I can't feel anything rough there. Any suggestions?

Latchless is the only way to go. Trust me.

Take it off and don't look back. Sooooo much better without the latch.

I couldn't carry it in my pocket if did that. Also, I would probably cut myself on ricochet moves and chaplins on a regular basis.

Get yourself a sheath then. Don't worry either about the cuts, you'll be getting tons of those.

Maybe I'll give latchless a try then. I picked up a sheath last weekend at a gun show.

I used to carry mine latchless in my pocket all the time, never got cut once.
Put a bit of tape on the end of the bite handle until you get used to it if you want. Or, just look at the pivots to orientate yourself when flipping..eg Silver side of pivots facing you = you are holding the safe handle, Black pivot screws facing you = you are holding the bite handle.
