I just scored a Jaguar at the local flea market for 12 bucks. I have been looking for one to add to the collection for a while. They seem hard to come by these days. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how I could rig up a stop so the latch doesn't hit the handle when I flip. I guess I could put a rubber band on the latch so it doesn't move but any other ideas would be appreciated.
Flip it like it's hot!

A tight O ring on the latch, up close to the handle might help.....

Thanks, you know where I could find one small enough and not have to buy a box of them?

What I do is cause I've gauged my ears, I take the rubberbands from my old sets of gauges cause they're thick and durable. If you don't gauge your ears, could probably ask a friend that does for em. Other then that you're shit outta luck.
Try and fail, but don't fail to try.

Local hardware or automotive store....oh wait plumbing supply would have exactly what you would need.
