taking out spring latch screw

I am trying to take out and replace the spring latch of a channel construction bali, but the screw and holder both turn when I try to unscrew it, is there any way to keep the holder in place so that the screw will come out? (holes are countersunk so I cant force anything under to pry it up)
Thanks,
Carl

Re: taking out spring latch screw

You can use Pliers to hold it straight. If that's not an option, you can superglue one end. Wait for it to set. Unscrew it. Soak the handle piece for a few hours in straight Acetone (Available at a Hardware store or Walmart for like 6 bucks a can). Pin should pop right out. If there's still resadue on it, just soak longer or scrub off etc.

Just started flipping? Hard to find decent Balis in the $30-$60 range? The Search Ends Here!

Don't hold out for a BM42! Take that $400+ you are planning on spending and go get in line for an Alpha Beast! You won't be disaponted!
