Typhoon-M upgrading tips, trick and ideas

So i got my Typhoon-m i have been flipping it for about 3 days not and the handles have too much play in them. I tighten them and they come loose some more.

What tips do you have for stopping this?

Also any ideas on general upgrading for this knife? Items to add to it. To make it a better flipper.

DO NOT tell me to go get a BM 42 unless you have one to give to me! With out a job this is what i got and im happy to have a knife. (been getting that a lot on other forms)

Thanks!

Well, this is a common problem. Just take out the pivot screws, clean the threads, and apply some loc-tite or plumbers tape to the threads. Loc-tite must sit for 12 hours though.

+1

Loctite is the way to go, I would get Loctite Blue, which is not as sturdy as the red. It will hold your pivots in place but allow you to take it apart if you want to modify it in other ways

nothing wrong with a typhoon at all.
great little knife if it's built right.
better than the ccc i got.

as for the 42, yeah it's a nice knife but you don't "have to have one"
