Spyderfly bushings and washers

I wanted to get PB washers for my Spyderfly, and I was wondering if anyone knew what size I needed. Faultyply didn't know off the top of his head.

I also saw that knifekits sells brass bushings, and I wondered if those were anything more than just color and weight difference.

Re: Spyderfly bushings and washers

i believe the washers are 3/16'' inside diameter, and are quite a bit wider the washers on typhoons.. I would get a few of each thickness.

As for the bushings... I have no clue what size they are. Even if you get the right size, you are still going to have to sand them down to the right thickness, so be aware of that. Personally i wouldn't replace them unless you find some Phosphor bronze bushings. I don't think brass would be a significant improvement over steel.

Re: Spyderfly bushings and washers

I whipped out the calipers and found out that the washers are .25 thick so you'd have to have to washers unless you buy them from somewhere else than knifekits.
