treating steels, and aluminum, and titanium

anyone here ever think of treating your balis to give them a better finish? look? rust removal?
allow me to explain: while not done too much anymore, you can gunblue a blade or ss handles (getting an authentic gunblue look plus corrosion resistance) . which i plan on doing to my next ccc. i wouldnt do it to my 42 as its perfect already now that i have that damn tang pin taken care of.
i will however anodize some pattern on its handles.
ill be sure to post up some pics when i get around to actually doing it. prob at the end of next month

anyway, am i the only one who thinks about doing this kinda stuff to their knives?

Nahh, I'm in the process of getting my AA blade coated and the handles anodized right now.
Check out what CDR did to his AA: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2782
