ORANGE from Green Benchmade 51 Paint aka The 51 Monarch

I wanted to try a new color. But before Anodizing, I wanted a quick sample. So I got some quick metal paint. Clean the surfaces and primed them, and paint the usual BM blue to green

I can always wash the paint off to get my BM blue back

I know... would have been a good business decision, because I know some people didn't get the 51 because of the Blue Anodized color.

if you go to gpknives.com they have a 51 with green g-10 overlays instead of black and gold titanium inlays instead of blue i have one they are limited so you should prolly hurry up,and did u paint the inlays or ordered it like that?

Nice job, the green doesn't look to bad but I think orange would have looked a little kooler

The blue is from it's namesake the Morpho Butterfly

I think ya ought to call the orange one the Monarch.

I like the green. Also, for people who don't know, a blue morpho is a blue buttrerfly like that one -->
Hence why it only comes in blue.

The orange looks very nice! You could also use kandy concentrates available from House of Kolor over the bare metal to achieve the same translucent look of the original blue with the swirls showing through. Still looks kool though!
