Lum style toxified on ball bearing

My first balisong in the new workshop. Lum style, 14 cm closed, 2,8 cm thick to the heel. 1 cm thick and 1,4 cm to the screw. 23,4 open. Open 10,5 cm and 8,6cm sharp.
90MCV8 blade, 2,6mm thick.
Stainless steel handle, toxified and burned with propan torch. The handle are on ball bearing.

It looks kinda awkward to flip with the spine being that shaped or maybe its the next best thing since sliced Bread? I really like the finish on the handles and the blade shape.

The spine on that blade is just gorgeous. How do the ball berrings affect the feel? are they pretty simlar to bushings? never have gotten my hands on a berrings bali. Looks great though!

About the feeling, that is not phenomenal , the handle stay straight in the line and that is smooth. That is a bit quieter than a classical balisong, but bushing is also a nice system.

For that try, i drilled to 3.3mm, use a counterbore mill M4 (with a pilot of 3.3mm and a mill of 8mm). After that i drilled to 3.8mm and reamed to 4mm. The pivot tube is 4mm with M3 screw. There are 15 ball in 100c6 of 1.54mm in each handle part. The channel is 0.85mm deep in each handle.

Sweet!! I like how you roughed up the torx screws as well, very nice touch. The detail on the spine of the blade looks awesome too. :TU:

Impressive skills in the vid btw, looks like it handles very well. What weight is it? I'm guessing it's pretty light going by the way you were firing it around so fast. I have a really light bali that flips awesome but it can be hard to control if you go too fast, I actually really like it. Coming up with tricks accidentally then never being able to do them again sucks though
