Is the 62 blade compatible with a 51?

When I bought the 62 I assumed the blade would fit on a 51, when I was done with the blade swap it looked great, and was able to flip, but it just didn't work how I thought it would....

It looks good on there, I always wondered why they didn't do a weehawk 51 in first place, no idea why it wouldn't work the same unless Benchmade foresaw this happening and for some reason made a minor adjustment on the blade to complicate it not sure why they would though.
