What I would like to do is to take my cheapo Tach balisong and basically give it better pin construction. The way it is now, it keeps loosening. Is there any way to put new, better pins in to keep it tight?

Re: Modicfaction

Probably not. You're gonna be better off to save up and just buy a good one anyway. Is it just pins or does it have torx screws?

Re: Modicfaction

with basic knowledge and the proper tools, it should not be a problem to fit some new pins(most likely from knifekits.com), also with hardened torx screws, into a cheap POS tach to make it live a little longer. just be careful of the handles breaking on those things, they can go flying.
