Suicide Drop

Hello Friends!
Ok so I have seen the suicide drop and can not figure out what you all are doing.
I don't suppose I could get a little help please?

Re: Suicide Drop

its pretty simple,
just hold your knife closed upside down between index and thumb, but let it lean a bit away from you

then do an inward squeeze, and put a little force in it, but not too much

hold you hand open and catch it in back hand position

i can make a tut if you want

Re: Suicide Drop

I've always had trouble catching it in the back hand position. I've gotten to the point now where I can do it lightning quick and catch it in the forward grip position.... :?

Re: Suicide Drop

Yeah thats what I keep doing. The knife lands in a forward grip. I suppose thats not wrong but I would like to be able to do the trick both ways maybe...

Re: Suicide Drop

I was messing around with my knife on lunch break, and I discovered that if you kinda flick it out to the side, it'll land perfectly in a back hand position.

I'm sure there's more than one way for each catch though..... :?
