I understand it wouldn't make for a good routine to do a bunch of vertical chaplins, but this is just to prove that it can be done. As I said a lot of people *think* they can do vertical chaplins but in reality are doing tilted chaplins. As you can see in this video by EricD78, which was made in response to me asking about vertical chaplins months ago:



These are not vertical, these are tilted. If anyone can do ten or more consecutive and completely vertical chaplins around the same finger please post a video to prove that this can be done.

Do you think this would be harder with a lighter bali like the 42 though?

With a 42? Probably not. It's definitely easier with a bali that's balanced to carry the momentum better, but with something like a 51, I tend to find them to be more difficult.
