Stating tutorials on my channel

Me and my friend Spacew00t have a channel on Youtube called SpaceBalisong and we decided to start making tutorials, so I set up some lights in my room and followed some tips from Nardath and BiteHandle on video production, along with making the black background (I've been messing with some settings in Vegas). Enjoy!

First using Black restore plugin, my shirt kind of messed up black restore cause of its design, but I guess it came out alright. I just need to get smoother on talking on tutorials.

I'm no expert... but that doesn't look like a basic twirl?

Always thought a twirl was 360 rotation around a finger. It looks more like a ricochet into ice pick grip. Might want to double check that.

Looks good though.

Badass quality videos you have here,
I would suggest that you make tutorials for moves that don't have tutorials, CL has one for everyone of those moves and they have seem to be working fine for everyone for what 2 years?

Keep making videos dude

Re: Stating tutorials on my channel

Recommend me some tutorials you would like to see on here, and I'll try to create tutorials for whatever you want :)

I need to get an all black sheet though, dark blue is fine, but I think that's why the black restore goes kind of weird, and of course my clothing.

Horizontal scissoring. It hasn't been done and is just begging for a tutorial.

I'll leave more advanced stuff to Spacew00t on the tutorials. I can't even do an 8-ball or a helix yet. I need to get cut more ;)

Re: Stating tutorials on my channel

Definatley some good potential for tutorials. Unfortunately like the others said, bali tutorials are going to be very hard to gain views on at this stage in time. I put a tonne of work into my tutorials and they dont produce the views I want. Unfortunately its going to be even harder for you since Ive already started a year and a half ago. I say go for it but again the three tutorials you have out have already been done by me, cutlerylover, bitehandle and countless other guys. Im not here to discourage you because so Far I think your work is pretty great but just be aware of what i am saying. Try to find something unique, you could hit a big crowd of viewers with the right material.

Take my TF2 Tutorial for example. I had no Idea that this would make it so big but again with the right material you could hit a big group of viewers. These videos were made only like 1 week after I got my first balisong and I was very rusty at flipping but it still got big within the right community.

I would listen to CN
over time hes proven he knows his way around a tuto.. and has also been uping his skills to take on more advanced stuff.

hes a great guy to listen to as well as Vincent dark when it comes to tutos
his tutos are now recognized as goto tutos for early to intermediate moves.
