Noob Tutorial Request: Helix

Hey guys, was wondering if someone could make a Helix tutorial vid for me. I looked at the ones on youtube and it's really hard for me to learn from them without a verbal explanation. So if someone could make one for me it would be awesome!

Re: Noob Tutorial Request: Helix

Which ones did you watch? I learned from Str8's and brokenhorn90's vid.

I would have recommended Str8's but he took it off. That was really good
cause it had verbal explanation.

You could also learn the Zen from Cutlery lover first. That is the first part
of the helix. Then from there it is not hard to figure out the rest with some
practice.

Re: Noob Tutorial Request: Helix

Yea I searched for it on here and saw that you said you learned from Str8's vid but then I saw that he said he took off all of his vids. :( I've watched incubis's and thewoodenpuppet's videos. Idk why just hard for me w/o an explanation. And I know the zen rollover also, took a bit due to the bite handle part at the end but now I have it down pretty well. :D

Re: Noob Tutorial Request: Helix

I don't mind making tutorials they're fun. Only thing is
there are always much more qualified people that can
make them than me. Helix is actually one of my weakest
tricks. I can do it, just the least consistent.

If I get some time maybe I'll put it together with verbal explaination.
Only thing is I feel it's a little redundant cause there are
a lot of tutorials already on it.

Anyone else have suggestions or know of some other tutorials
for Placebo?

Re: Noob Tutorial Request: Helix

Thanks knifezoid, would be great if you could make it, and any other suggestions or tricks I should learn or any other tutorials I should watch would be much appreciated. I know all of Cutlerylover's and pretty much all of Azteckia's so far.

Re: Noob Tutorial Request: Helix

have you tried behind the eight ball?? I learned that before i learned the helix. Its very similar, but i think slightly easier. Plus azteckia's vid is really good. After i learned that i found the helix came pretty easy.. Around the world is another one thats pretty easy and has a good tutorial. Also another trick i do a lot is zenghost's rewind. I usually start from open position tho. rolling the spine of the blade over my finger instead of the handles. His tutorials are at balisonginfo.com

Re: Noob Tutorial Request: Helix

...sorry dude. I wish I couldn't as well, but that's life.

Try balibowler's own...if you couldn't learn from incubis or thewoodenpuppet though then I doubt you'll have a chance with his tuto...

So it's best for Knifezoid to make one if he has the time.

Keep praying.

I'll try to put something together. Would have done it tonight had I seen this post
earlier, but instead was getting new footage of the M Tech Twist. Might use it
for the Helix Tuto.
