Re: helish

besides the obvious that stu forgot to add that index roll in the explanation of the trick, what is it that is hanging you up on the trick? it was a pretty straightforward tutorial. maybe then we can better help you get over whatever speed bump you are hitting more precisely.

Re: helish

it is a very good tutorial indeed, but i really have no idea what part of the trick is making it complicated for me man. i had no trouble with the helix, i actually got it at the first time and this is somewhat the same. :?

Re: helish

havn't done this move in awhile, my biggest hurdle with it was remembering to land in a grip with my middle and ring after the first spin..since i am so used to the helix which uses index/middle.
After remembering that part the rest was pretty easy and imo easier than the helix.

if you are having trouble with the index finger roll...one suggestion that i would make would be to make a conscious effort to touch the tip of your index finger to your middle finger while your hand is still palm down as it is just finishing the second spin..and then turn your hand palm up-ish as the third spin is starting.

Re: helish

That's my video.

It was made as one of my EARLY attempts at a tuto video. back when I was a n00b and had NO rights to make one.

If you guys want, I can re-do it with a verbal explanation as I did in my Helix video. PM me and let me know.
