Knife laws around the world

I feel like this could be a very useful thread and it could be used as a quick reference to clarify the knife laws of your country/state since interpreting the state codes can be difficult sometimes. Anyway... I'll go first.
Idaho: legal to own a balisong, but you may not carry it in public.
and to make it even more simple... keep it at home kids

Re: Knife laws around the world

Sweden: Illegal to import, export, and sell balisongs. Also illegal to carry it in public.
The only thing legal is to have it at your home if you're 21 or older :D

Connecticut - Legal to own, not to carry. Legal to buy/sell and import/export as well.
Blade lengths can not exceed 3 inches or so I believe. The way we all gauge it is by putting the base of the blade on the base of your palm near your pinkey, and if its longer than your palm, past your index finger, then its illegal.
Personally, I carry, I don't give a fuck.

Edit: Also this should maybe be in the Knives we flip section, or off topic, not art of flipping section.

Texas - Legal to own, buy and sell. Illegal to carry in public... BUT, it's Texas. So, they don't really care. Hell, there's a gun carry and conceal law AND campus carry is allowed on some University campuses. Ridiculous. Anyway, I'm not worried about the laws here. I carry at least 2 bali's at all times, flip in public a little... I don't care and neither does anybody else here. I just try to not get in trouble.

Legal to own as collectibles or mementos (ie, keep at home). Also legal if you have a valid performance/entertainment license (ie, good place to display the Art of). Illegal to carry and sell, however. Blade limit is 4".

Blade limit is 1.5" so you're screwed whether it falls into any of the listed categories or not.
