ok, so is anyone else having trouble keeping thier pivot screws loctited? im using blue, a little more than i would normally use now, and it is seriously lasting me about 5 days. once a week i have to clean and re-apply blue loctite......gets real annoying, and im gettin worried about losing a pivot screw. i think once i get some PB washers in there, im gonna Red it.

Re: loc-tite

instead of cleaning it off, maybe you could try just re-applying. the build up effect might help keep 'em in place. Are you using real loc-tite, or that permatex stuff. I used the permatex and it was giving me a hard time, i just gobbed it on more than I normally would. So far so good.
As for the red, just be sure before you make the leap. If you ever want to sell/trade that bali you'll need to take those screws back out ( you know why droop ;) ) and you don't want to risk fuckin up your hardware reefin' on them. And be careful bro, even that blue stuff is a real bitch if you get it in the wrong spot accidentally ( I had that garbage in between my washers  ), I'd hate to see how bad the red would bind up a bali.

Re: loc-tite

dont really need a video, just make sure you have a clean surface, just a dab to cover the threads. too much and it will squeeze out and gum up the knife.
and dont buy permatex. it always worked good for me with all my automotive uses, but i guess flipping is more strain than my valve cover hold down studs will ever see from vibration.

Re: loctite??

Guys, I mentioned loctite, militec, and torx drviers in a conversation with Ryan, and he DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THOSE WERE.

So much for getting a 42...if I didn't mention it to him his 42 would fuck him out within a couple months !
