Basic Backhand Twirl

Also known as:
Reverse Twirl.

Inventor:
?.

Origins:
?.

Brief Summary:
This is just like the BasicTwirl, but the steps are performed in reverse.

Process:

1: Hold the knife by the safe handle, tang down, closed, with your index finger and thumb. Be sure to keep all your other fingers curled in for now.

2: Drop the bite handle. Replace your thumb with your middle finger. Give your fingers (or the knife) a slight twist, so that they're on the grooves of the handles instead of the sides.

3: Keep the bite handle swinging in the same direction as it dropped. It should go all the way to the top of your index finger. Stick your other fingers out.

4: Rotate the knife a little further in the same direction it was moving in so you can grab the safe handle with those other fingers and your thumb.

5: Flip the knife in the opposite direction, so the spine of the blade (along with the bite handle) hits the back of your fingers. Get your index finger out of the way.

6: Flip the knife back, so the bite handle meets the safe handle. The knife will now be open, tang up.
